Hey everyone. Hope you all got back safely. Thanks for your hard work. It was a fun weekend. I have some people's stuff locked in my studio (from the cargo van). I know I have some of Amber's stuff, some of Matt's things, some of Kristin's stuff, Joel's stuff, and Stephan's stuff. I probably have some other things from other people, but I don't know right off hand. I'm missing some things myself. I'm missing a leopard print pillow. This is really important to me. My cousin gave it to me and he died a couple of years ago. I'm also missing a hammer, a screwdriver (both are labeled with my name). And I'm missing my video camera, but I'm hoping Matt has this in his car. I'd like to do exchanges soon, as I will be leaving for Kentucky in less than two weeks. Please make arrangements with me to pick up or drop off stuff. Thanks, Jenny

Thanks for playing the Wedding-Game. It was a blast. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway was simply the most way cool venue we could have selected. I hope that all of you had an adventure to remember and that the Wedding-Game indeed became a defining artistic event for you. Let's hear your stories and comments. joel 1. When I stood on top of the Media Center in the 104 degree temperature, after the staging was complete and Lost Chihuahua was doing a sound check and the cars were flying around the Speedway, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. jenny's mega-driving powers through hours of desert full of shat rock. lance's exquisite dry humor. charlie's gift for reigning in the car, the rv, and whatever territory she chooses to set foot on. matt's apologies for shooting lance in "private moments". amber's most fabulous, fabulous, fabulous capes--swaying multicolored and wild in the windy palette of the lvms. jeff's chained naked chest. ross' mooning all of us...shake your stuff ross! coming back...strawberry shakes at the mad greek.

From: rob riddle

don't forget! tonight, wednesday 5 june, the next delivery of EOM sessions at za spot cafe (371 11th st, SF, next to DNA)...blissed out beats and good pizza plus saifirnout PA live! can't be there but you're bored next to your computer? you can catch the music online at http://www.pulseradio.net/main.phtml... check http://www.elotromundo.com/ for more info...

===== back from the desert: late night drives through the lights lostness, sleep near red rocks, wake to searing sauna, thunder, billowy black clouds behind jagged sandstone, limestone clawing out the sky...not so long hikes extended by very deep heat, lizard caves, pictures of old hands never found... inside gondolas that pretend venice outside massive streaks of dismissed porn, trampled on like so many broken breasts - a shining million bulbs; shark tanks, dolphin tanks - water everywhere! Paris? Marrakesh? Seattle? Cairo? oh no! who imitates who here? who knows... NASCAR tracks (that's not your dad's Ford Taurus!), $2.50 for a can of Sprite (curse of Kobe), a bloody beautiful wind witnesses beautiful goofiness, silly beats and noise, heartfelt communion saddled with the ridiculous stunts of crazy artists...Babylon left as a scenic background, for now...

How does this sound: Thursday evening, meet for dinner, a post-LV celebration? 2. Shooting towards the sky on Big Shot above the Stratosphere with some of the travelodge crew, clenching the metal bar with bruising force and cursing in pseudospanish. To unwind, martinis sipped while overlooking the night skyline of Sin City from 1,149 ft to the upbeat ambiance of lounge singers.

hi everyone, hope you have recuperated! listen, we are in a special time frame in terms of documentation and press. we need to post some material to the website as soon as it is possible to do so. this can, of course, occur before cataloging all the tape. as i am able to respond to inquiries about the performance and direct people to the site, we must have some examples of material up there. 1. picture of the wedding ceremony, 2. pictures of performances. 3. pictures of the poker game. 4. pictures of the band. 5. pictures of the speedway, cars, heat, etc.... if you can help in this regard it would be very much appreciated. Joel

I double checked the media archive. Obviously the ftp server was jammed by dozens of open connection. Restarting solved that problem. Please keep using it and let me know as soon as problems come up. Thanks, _stephan_ PS: I look forward to see your stills.

Congratulations Jenny and Lance! I hope it was great. I look forward to the stories and footage. I challenge you all to tell tales that will make me regret having missed it. Wednesday p.m. packed and ready to go, designating morning action: Pick up the rental car, then Serge go to market Wendy come home make sandwiches and set up Diva to be collected by Mark. Wednesday p.m. packed and ready to go, circa 11:15 p.m. --the one television station broadcasts a heat wave in the South West. Wednesday p.m. packed and ready to go, 11:17 p.m. "Are we really going to do this?" "What do you think?" Then we just started laughing. Adrenaline and probably a bit of hysteria, Wendy starts singing one of the silly songs that is probably remembered by few other than her and Annrae, "Hundred degrees 'neath the trees where it's shady. Hundred and ten in the -- hot sun. Heat from the street burns the feet of the ladies. See how they run." Maybe the heat was a last straw. Absence, too, is a kind of presence. Best wishes. w.

The nuptial bedroom in the RV. Lance winning at Craps. Stephan's beautiful video projection against the dark night sky and Vegas City Lights. David Lynch characters at the Clark County Courthouse. The incredible sunset over LVMS during the ceremony. Amber's beauty pageant secrets and our moment together in the bathroom of the pre-staging area. Adopting Matt as a much needed Hager brother. The Hager sisters and Ross in their fantastic super hero capes. Kristin and Ron bringing me candy. Yum. And Joel, by the power vested in him, pronouncing Lance and me husband and wife.

Plus, how could we forget...Jeff's costume? What's that, Jeff? Didn't even have to go shopping for it? Hmmmm..... The music playing during Ron and Kristin's microwave performance. The whir of the cars racing on the speedway against the music of Rob and Christopher-this was truly amazing. Did anyone else hear this? Nora's ability to dedicate herself entirely to being the best shooter-from-the-hip ever. Zoe, Day, and Charlie being overstimulated and overserved (Vegas will do this to the smallest and spunkiest of us all). Joel's face during "The Birds and the Bees." Charlie, telling us RV'ers, what she really thinks of Matt Mays. Kristin's hat. And Nora being picked up by all the Vegasites at the Casinos.

Southern soul food @ Phines, Bakersfield. Buffet after buffet after buffet after buffet after buffet. The 10 rules of Las Vegas. Go back the way you came. There are no shortcuts. Don't take what you don't want. (That one was vetoed.) Like ants in the Sahara. Projections on the wall of a motel: the sound of banjos, guitars, african drums eclipsing Kristin (Boticelli) Jeff (Cruise) Jenny and Lance's face in room 219, we almost cried. Stepping into an abandoned RV to get microwavable bowls. Embracing the gummi bear assistant after our mutual leap of faith. Winning Jenny's hat. Losing my guitar strap. Flirting with groupies. Watching people dance. Asking a mime on stilts to take a picture of us. Dragging a blind man dressed as an ice cream cone by the hand to take a picture of us. Jan calming everyone's nerves - there is no reason to fear lunch out of a Clown, food is food. Then why does this brownie taste like packaging? Why is there a time limit for Vegas meals? Who is Lance Burton? Why does "High School High School" seem like such a sexy concept for a casino? What vegetable starts with E? Eggplant. We already said that. Elephant Garlic. Ok. Good one. Did you gamble in Las Vegas? A little. (A little.) Realizing that it wasn't about the songs we knew, the good company was the game, they were the music.

yeah-that-is-it-moment Yasmina and me standing in front of the video wall enjoying the cool environment and being very satisfied with our design. [:]culture clash Watching Jan eating the Sahara buffet alone while pretending to be a choleric French person who notoriously bitches about the cheap Las Vegas plagiarism. "tzaa! nooooooo!" [:]ooops! Accidentally mentioning to Lance how many cameras are recording the ceremony right before Joel called the groom and the bride. [:]highlight Seeing the director of our program pulling a Johnny Goodman like in David Byrne's "true stories". Formidable!!! (Let me guess he isn't a German professor) [:]better than Concorde Travelling with Ron and Jan and getting the impression that it is only 5h to Vegas. /:st>
