This year, Artists' Miniatures
2002 will be prominently displayed in the Work Gallery, our main first
floor gallery at our civic center location. The exhibit will be on view
from Saturday, November 23 through Sunday, December 29, 2002, and for
the First Night celebration. There will also be an opening reception
for the artists and their guests on Friday evening December 6 from 5:30
to 7:30.
The Monterey Museum of Art's
exhibition of miniature artwork raises much needed funds to support the
museum. Every miniature is accompanied by a small box which holds tickets
for the drawing to be held on January 2, 2003. One ticket will be pulled
from each box, and the person whose name is on the ticket wins the artwork.
Tickets can be purchased at the museum's Civic Center location for $5.00
each or $25.00 for a book of six. Remember, tickets make great stocking
stuffers and gifts!
