This project is an attempt to explore Hypertext as a concept.
Note that my self-organized definition of concept = entity. In other words
essence = existence : existence = essence
consciousness = manifestation : manifestation = consciousness
I am claiming these equations indicate that form and content are the same stuff.
Our experience is a combination of experiencing essence/existence - form/content as a dichotomy. This dichotomy is useful, perhaps even necessary to our experience. And it is also useful, perhaps even necessary to recognize that dichotomy and unity like hierarchy and network are all meaningful and useful concept/experiences. Or maybe they are just interesting. Or maybe definitions and contrasts are primarily significant to help us understand and/or communicate.
Hypertext as concept may facilitate a
metaphor of sorts about system/structure.

Hypertext is a multidisciplinary intrigue. This suggests that a hypertext structure is particularly significant. Information/Internet/Hypertext is providing a model to discuss other system/structure ideas.
It indicates a contemporary desire or necessity for
multidisciplinary system/structure concepts.
The circle above is intended to be an indication that disciplines are related. A circle is far more modern than postmodern however it is useful in removing hierarchy from an illustration. The circle is a network. Any illustration is going to be incomplete because another point may always emerge/exist between any two points. But the illustrations and lists are all just attempts to bring abstract concepts to a place where they can be discussed.
Lists are illustrations as well. How a list is made and what it refers to doesn't really have anything to do with the objects or concepts it is listing.
Lists are fiction. Databases are lists. Databases are fiction.
